The Voice Kids got off to a sensational start this as a 13-year-old hopeful stunned viewers with her incredible voice.

Jessica Richardson, 13, from Langdon Hills, dreams of becoming a hit in the music industry and has been singing since she was just a little girl.

Although she has performed on stage in many local talent shows, she was “over the moon” to be selected as one of the few young singers to get through the rigorous audition process to sing in front of the show’s coaches Pixie Lott, Will.I.Am and McFly frontman Danny Jones.

Jessica went through to the next round and chose McFly star Danny Jones to become her mentor – in the hope of winning the prize of a £30,000 bursary towards musical education and trip to DisneyLand Paris.

The Voice Kids audience and judges were blown away by the 13-year-old girl with a beautiful performance of the song ‘Somebody To Love’
