Beautiful rendition of ‘Wind of Change’ by Ukranian violinist

Karolina Protsenko is a street violinist with incredible talent. She shares her gifting with the world with her YouTube videos showcasing her live performances. Her inspiring music is played for people passing by on the street.

In this performance, Karolina wears a pink dress with flowers and white sneakers as she stands in the middle of a shopping center. People walk by her and leave money in her violin case.

Karolina is swaying as she delicately plays the violin to the hit ‘Scorpions’ song ‘Wind of Change.’ People around her smile and clap along to the tune as she emits positive musical energy.

Karolina notes on her channel, “My violin cover of “Wind of Change.” This song is about the destruction of the Berlin Wall in Germany. It speaks of sights one can visit in Russia, such as the Moskva River in Moscow that flows through Gorky Park. This is to portray the changing times of freedom of movement. I hope you like it.”

Karolina Protsenko is a young teenager, but her violin skills are advanced beyond her years. She was born in Ukraine into a musical family, and her parents play guitar and piano. Their family moved to the U.S. years ago when she was 6 years old.

Karolina received classical training at an early age. She has three YouTube channels, along with Facebook and Instagram. In only a few short years, her fan base has grown to more than 10 million followers in over 50 countries.
