Blind auditions on “The Voice” are always good for some unbelievable reveals. But the urge to know who’s behind those big voices can be even more irresistible when the contestants come in smaller packages.
“The Voice Kids,” which has launched in countries around the world and features contestants ages 7-16, has produced some of the most stunning blind auditions in the show’s history. First came Ayoub, a Moroccan-Dutch 14-year-old who immediately captivated the judges on “The Voice Kids Netherlands.”
Then came Angel’s stunningly mature cover of “Always” on the Indonesian version, followed by another young woman with a voice beyond her years, Daneliya Tulyeshova on “The Voice Kids Ukraine.”
Future seasons brought sisters Mimi and Josefin singing “Creep” and yet another phenom in Justin, who stole the show in Vlaanderen with Billie Eilish’s “Lovely.” It’s tough to pick a favorite, but it’s easy to see the talent — even during a blind audition.
