Tom Ball, a talented vocalist, recently participated in Britain’s Got Talent. He came third in the Season 15 of the popular talent show. Ball was just 23 years old when he decided to compete.
While introducing himself on the BGT stage, he informs the judges and the audience that he is a secondary school teacher. He had not told any of his students about his performance because he wanted to surprise them.
He is accompanied by his fiancé and his dad, who came with Tom to cheer him up during his auditions. Tom is likable and impresses the 4 judges, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon, David Walliams, & Simon Cowell, even before his performance.
In his audition, Tom Ball performs Sam Smith’s ‘Writing on the Wall’ from the James Bond movie, ‘Spectre.’ The judges were pleased by the talented vocalist’s performance. Every note he sings is spot-on.
Amanda finds the audition exceptional. She says, “You are one of the best singers we’ve had in the last 16 years.” Alesha’s feedback is also full of praise. She says, “I really felt moved by that vocal & that performance was exceptional.”
Simon adds, “You know what, Tom, there are lots & lots of good singers out there. I always believe that your personality plays a huge role in the auditions. There is something very likable about you.”
David says, “You never forget a good teacher & how lucky are your kids to have you teaching them. Because you seem like such a lovely person. So, Tom, let me your first, Yes!” The other judges followed David in sending him to the next round of BGT.
