‘BGT’ boy prodigy sings ‘Les Niserables’ hit with his famously unique voice

Young Cormac Thomson’s prodigious talent is on display again in a performance of ‘Empty Chairs at Empty Tables’ from Les Mis. The talented young singer delivers a wonderful performance far beyond his years.

Cormac’s new charity single is presented to aid ‘Acting For Others,’ a charity providing support to theater workers, especially needed after the COVID lockdowns.

Cormac performs in the studio with a light blue background. He stands in front of a microphone wearing headphones as he sings. He wears a white collared shirt while he sings the famous song from the musical ‘Les Miserables.’

A piano player in the studio is accompanying him while he sings. There are views of empty city streets and fields throughout the performance to signify the pandemic.

When Cormac was just 12 years old, he auditioned for Season 15 of ‘Britain’s Got Talent.’ He comes from Lancashire in Northern Ireland, and for his audition, he sang ‘Run’ by Snow Patrol.

Simon Cowell said to Cormac, ‘It was a brilliant choice of song. You sang it beautifully. You made it your version.’ Although Cormac failed to make the semi-finals, he signed a recording contract with Decca records. He released his debut album titled ‘Hear My Voice.’

Cormac’s talent is stunning, and he sings the lyrics with all his heart. ‘Les Mis’ is one of the most celebrated musicals in history, and Cormac captures all of its beauty with his amazing voice.
