These stunning photographs captured by Brazilian photographer Paula Galvão depict the intimate and tender moments shared between a mother and her newborn child.

In one of the images, the moving picture shows a woman bending down to give birth while leaning onto the floor and holding onto her spouse as she experiences contractions.

After giving birth to her own daughter, Ingfrid, who is now 17 years old, Paula began capturing these moments through her camera lens.

She explained that she works around the clock because her job is “extremely happy and fulfilled by her passion,” adding that “every birth brings a different emotion.”

The collection of photographs showcases the raw emotions and beauty of childbirth, with one image depicting a mother meeting her child for the first time, while other images show the mother and child bonding after birth.

Another powerful shot shows a baby emerging with the umbilical cord still attached,
